Chick, Duckling & Pullet Sales
During Baby Chick season, we sell a variety of baby chicks and ducklings. Year-round, we have 20-24 week old Rhode Island Red pullets only (periodically, we also have New Hampshire Reds).
Custom Built Chicken Coops
Wardle’s standard and custom built coops are made with high quality chicken wire surrounding the entire run, including the floor. They come with a run (chickens love sun light) and are connected to a solid wood nesting box where your chickens will be safe and warm at night and where they can lay eggs.
Chicken Keeping and Biosecurity Zoom Classes
This class covers everything you need to know about raising chickens, bio-security, predators, the best diet, coops, breeds, equipment, egg production, winter and cold weather, bird costs, breeds, and much, much more!
Rooster and Unwanted Bird Pick-up
Must drop off unwanted birds during the two-hour window. No reservation required.
Old Fashioned Chicken Swaps
Buy, sell, trade, or browse animals, produce and wares from local community. Think of it as a Farmer’s Market but with live farm animals (not just chickens). They are a lot of fun, so bring the kids!
Chick & Duckling Nursery
During Baby Chick Season (February to Labor Day), we feature a walk-in, temperature-controlled brooder room which houses all of our baby chicks and ducklings. Please note that only employees may enter the brooder room due to biosecurity protocol.
Note: We close the chick room one-half hour before the store closes for cleaning and maintenance.
